16.10.2016. COMPANY continue our journey to find the Secrets of USA.
On 18th October we'll be having an event and book publishing at Storefront, Kenmare street 97, NYC. The Book of Secrets is an archive of all the Secret projects we've done in the past 10 years. The book travels through the Secrets of Finland, Korea, Belgium, Estonia, Russia, Japan, and half way through USA.



15.10.2016. We made a book!
THE BOOK OF SECRETS gathers all of our Secrets projects and celebrates the 10 year long journey into the Secrets.
266 pages with over 400 colour photos and illustrations. Secrets from nine different countries: Secrets of Finland (2007–), Secrets of Korea (2008–), Secrets of Vietnam (2008–), Secrets of Belgium (2010–), Secrets of Sweden (2011–), Secrets of Russia (2012–), Secrets of Estonia (2013–), Secrets of Japan (2015–) and Secrets of USA (2016–).

03.09.2016. All ready with our Secret Studies installation at the exhibition ’research, re:researched’ at Post Territory Ujeongguk, Seoul, Korea. Secret Studies installation connects the items from our Secrets collection with the secret materials behind. Exhibition opening tonight at 6pm. We'll have artist talk with curators Cho Juri and Yang Yujin from 5 pm to 6pm. Oso oshipsio!



03.09.2016. COMPANY will share some of our secrets in an exhibition ’research, re:researched’ opening on 3rd of September at Post Territory Ujeongguk, Seoul.



31.08.2016. Opening of Mode and Moments, 100 years of Korean fashion at Seoul Culture Station, Korea. Our installation View on Life looks into the future through a wide selection of COMPANY clothing and art objects. Exhibition open until 22nd of September. Kamsahamnida Mee Hye Lee, Choi Chong Hwa and Vogue Korea.



31.08.2016. COMPANY in Seoul. We are setting up our room for the upcoming exhibition Mode and Moments opening at Seoul Culture Station, Korea.



16.08.2016. Huh huh. Packing for upcoming exhibition in Seoul, Korea.
The exhibition Mode and Moments opens on 31st of August at Seoul Station, Korea. It'll be a show of 100 years of Korean fashion. We were invited to envision a view in to the future of fashion – and life. Next week we're off to Seoul to set up the exhibition.



15.08.2016. Finishing of the installation of Maljakkopuu (Flower Vase Tree) a series of scupltures for Espoo Hospital.
Maljakkopuu is a commissioned art work for a new hospital in the city of Espoo due to open in early 2017. Maljakkopuu is a set of 18 steel trees that each holds 21 mouth-blown glass flower vases. The trees are located by the entrance of each 18 wards of the hospital. Visitors can pick up aflower vase on their way to the patient rooms. The art work is comissioned by EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art.


04.08.2016. Helsinki Design Week 2016 program published today.
COMPANY participates with a project Secret Statue – a public art work that transforms SALAKAUPPA into a living sculpture. Secret Statue will be a series of moments bringing statues to life.Invited guest statue-persons will give speeches during the Helsinki Design Week. 12.06.2016. Opening of exhibition Objects of Desire at Design Museum Helsinki. The exhibition explores contemporary one-off and edition-based design objects that combine new craftsmanship and conceptual design. COMPANY's Mushroom Forest from our Secrets of Northern Japan series is part of the show. Objects of Desire is open at Design Museum Gallery until 21 August 2016. 26.05.2016. Exhibition Roundabout Baltic opens at Regional Museum Stalowa Wola, Poland. We are part of the exhibtion with our Pixel Lamp and August Stool for Nikari. This touring exhibtion will open next at the Form/Design Center in Malmö, Sweden (22.06.-11.09.2016) and later at the Estonian Museum Of Applied Arts And Design, Tallin (08.10.2016-28.12.2016).



26.05.2016. Opening of exhibition BoA 2016 (Aalto University Bachelor's of Arts graduation show).
COMPANY Aamu & Johan are the proud patrons of this beautiful show. The exhibition is open until 17June at Lume Gallery, Hämeentie 135 C (Aalto University main entrance), Helsinki.

Sakunami Trees are based on the tradition of wooden dolls (Kokeshi)manufacturing of Sakunami region. Sakunami Trees take their inspiration from the elaborate line paintings typical for Sakunami tradition. We designed the trees originally for our exhibition Secrets of Northern Japan at Aomori Museum of Art in 2015.

31.03.2016. Bye bye Onsen, Enka & Pokari-Sweat. COMPANY returns to Helsinki after three amazing weeks in Southern Japan. We are expanding our Secrets of Northern Japan -project from 2015 and this time looked into the Secrets of Southern Japan. Arigato gosaimas! Onegaishimas!



28.03.2016. COMPANY visiting two-toe shoe maker Marugo. These shoes for festivals and safety work known as Jikatabi originate from here in Okayama, Japan.



26.03.2016. COMPANY & Hiraga-san, Kokeshi master in Sakunami, Northern Japan. We continue our collaboration started last year with the ‘Secrets of Northern Japan’ and introduce new work later this year.



25.03.2016. COMPANY's Birch Bag Pixel in exhibition ‘ZAKKA’ at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT Midtown Tokyo. Birch Bag Pixel is part ofa display selected by Lucas Badtke-Berkow of Paper Sky's magazine. The amazing ‘ZAKKA’ exhibition is open until 5 July 2016.

15.03.2016. We're big fans of this amazing fan manufacturer. He joke all the time. Must have been hilarious time always in this 400 year old family company.



14.03.2016. More Kyushu secrets! The secrets of knife making. He makes the best of the knives and plays electric guitar. Usually one year waiting time to get his knife, but we had our lucky day today.



14.03.2016. Temporary office at Unagi no Nedoko, Yame, Japan. This fantastic project and store is all about Kyushu craft and life. Our Kokeshi collection is happy to be part of it (that blue family of products in the front corner on the table).



13.03.2016. COMPANY X MIYATA ORIMONO! We'll spend a week in the good hands of our dear friends Hiroko and Nobuhiro of Miyata Orimono. Miyata Orimono manufacture handmade-home-jacket 'Hanten' for 102 years with their own weaved fabric Kurume ori. Onegaishimas!
